What you type in the “What are you interested in?” box is compared to words in the titles of CIP codes and the CIP 2020 to SOC 2018 crosswalk.
The “heuristic” slider tells what percentage of the words you type have to match the CIP/SOC words for a CIP code in order to include that CIP code. A heuristic value of zero ignores your words and shows all CUNY programs. 100% means that every word you type has to appear in the descriptions of the CIP and/or CIP-SOC titles.
The numbers to the right of each program listed are the current enrollments in those programs.
